{"id":549,"date":"2011-11-23T17:33:46","date_gmt":"2011-11-23T16:33:46","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/stjamesthelessbg.org.uk\/?page_id=549"},"modified":"2025-07-08T08:18:55","modified_gmt":"2025-07-08T07:18:55","slug":"this-week","status":"publish","type":"page","link":"http:\/\/stjamesthelessbg.org.uk\/?page_id=549","title":{"rendered":"Services"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><strong>Worship<\/strong><br \/>\nOur Sunday service is at 10.30am.<br \/>\nHoly Communion is held on the 1st and 3rd Sunday of each month.<br \/>\nA service of the word is held on the 2nd and 4th Sunday of each month.<br \/>\nWe have an informal &#8216;brunch&#8217; service on the final Sunday of the month with pastries and tea\/coffee etc.<\/p>\n<p>Children are very welcome at St James the Less. \u00a0Each\u00a0Sunday\u00a0there are crafts or activities for children to do during the service, but we also don\u2019t mind if they want to\u00a0help the adults worship God (or just run around!).<\/p>\n<hr \/>\n<p><strong>Pray &#8211; NB Paused Indefinitely<br \/>\n<\/strong>Morning prayer is said in church at 8am most Mondays to Thursdays.<br \/>\nCome and join this quiet time of prayer. It&#8217;s a great way to start the day, and open to all.<\/p>\n<hr \/>\n<p><strong>Be &#8211; NB Paused Indefinitely<\/strong><strong><br \/>\n<\/strong>Wednesdays, 6.30pm &#8211;\u00a0Christian Meditation in the church<br \/>\nCome and find 20 mins of silent contemplative prayer.
